Fe₂O₃ · ENDLESS

Two machines, one tape.

Flip Oxyde into ENDLESS and it stops being a recorder and becomes an instrument. A live tape loop in the tradition of the two-deck reel-to-reel rigs — tap to open it, tap to seal it, then play into it. Every pass sums your input over what’s already there and lets the oldest layers fade. It never quite reaches unity, so the loop always, eventually, dissolves. That’s the point. And because it’s running through the Oxide tape engine, the loop doesn’t just decay — it ages: saturation, wow, flutter and hiss settling deeper into every revolution.

A real tape machine,
built for the way you record.

Oxyde brings the feel of multitrack tape to iOS — reels you can see moving, tracks you bounce and layer, and the warmth that made tape worth chasing. No accounts, no cloud. Just you and the machine.

ENDLESS loop

Flip the deck into a live tape loop. Play into it and every pass sums over the last, the oldest layers fading until the loop dissolves.
